Wii Madden 10 and You

Alright by now we have all seen what wii madden 10 looks like

it is sad...i have not heard anything postive so far...they really did a job in my imo....

this also makes my league look bad....i mean with none of you guys gonna get wii madden 10...

i have to decide on a lot of things...so i will need to make a poll, which will be the first of many polls....

keep in mind all....wii madden 10....that is not the final copy yet....they will make changes...like they did last year a little bit..

so please answer this poll and feel free to add comments

I can't judge a game by a 30 second trailer, and i really only think that the players shoulders are what makes it look bad. I will definitely be getting it no matter what, I love Madden too much not to.

yeah waiting to really see what it looks like will be a big thing..but I too will most likely get it..I love Madden.

Im getting it even though the graphics are a step above N64 EA messed it all up. **** U EA

I will get it and i agree with Coor, it is only the large shoulders that look bad.. i mean lets see from what i have heard, 09 was better then 08, so how do you expect 10 to be worse then 09? does it really matter what it looks like? there is a lot more to worry about then some stupid graphics

Agreed PNQ, I will be getting it for Wii also, and the graphics are ok for 09, I don't care even if they kept the same graphics but made the gaming engine awesome, aka game-play awesome.

Most likely not. EA screws with us every year. I keep saying I won't buy it next year and then end up buying it ... and then complaining about how crappy it is. I'm tired of spending my money on a product that sounds like it has been improved only to find that they've found a new way to jack it up. I love playing Madden but I'm tired of EA Sports. The game is basically the same every year with the obvious difference being roster changes, but most other items are just minor tweaks (some in the wrong direction). Madden 10 for Wii was supposedly built from the ground up but the animations look the same to me and the graphics are a slap in the face.

I realize it was only a small snippet, a little teaser trailer, but I was insulted by what I saw. I'll have to decide later once I've seen more (kind of like the cel-shaded Link in Wind Waker). I'm pretty sure if there was another option on the market most of you would consider your decision a little harder, too.

Aren't you guys tired too?

I will not be getting in, I am retiring from Madden after season 2.

i thought it looked decent 4 the wii. ill 4 sure get it. plz take user catch out. wii spaek would b cool 4 it.

I'm getting it. Hope they git rid of all the glitches, especially friendly quit and timeout. I hope they keep the new stuff to 09, like call-your-shots and user catch.

user catch lol you guys want user catch...(me rolling on the ground in pain because i'm laughing so hard) don't be so dumb the only reason user catch works is because you have to lob the ball every pass play! hello people! if they change it back to the way it is suppose to be (w/ bullet passes) the user catch will not work like the many of you use it. so i challenge all that will disagree to what i say to always user catch in 2010, i bet you can't lol. user catch is not a glitch it's pure cheese!!! i always love how the people defend it like they ever used it before 09' lol. user catchers = garbage to me you want to play madden like a sim then play it like a sim not like NFL Blitz!

We need to give it a chance. A 30s clip isn't saying much. If they fix bullet pass and friendly quit glitch, I don't really care of the shoulder pads look aweful, I will get it.

ok.. im not necessarily defending it, but i hadnt played online before this... but on ps2 i played a ton with my roomate last year on Madden 08 and you can user catch even with bullet passes. Not zigzag user catch but just the slight movement gives your guy an advantage. I didnt use it on long bombs well basically b/c i rarely ran long bombs i used it more with slant passes or TE outs to move my guy quickly closer to the ball. It allows more room for him to catch it and less of a chance of the ball getting picked off. It does of course take more stick skills then the zig zag user catch

i'm talking about the zig zagers!! i have played online madden for ps2 when it first came out and i user catched then the right way. for example to come back on a hook play or keep my guy from running out of bounds on a post or fly partern. all you zig zagers are cheese balls period!

Back on topic...
I'm going to rent it before I do anything, and see if I'm satisfied with the gameplay, both on and offline. Then, I'm going to come on here, the EA Forums, and several other Madden sites for about a week. If I see any MAJOR glitches (i.e. no bullets) or see major lag problems, I'm not gonna buy it.

The game looks like NFL blitz! This is MADDEN dammit! If Nintendo wanted to make a family-friendly football game, why don't they just come out with a whole separate franchise, even if it isnt NFL licenced? Hardcore Nintendo fans (like all of US) deserve a realistic, well-made football game for our wiis.

I'm not planning on buying a ps360 so I most likely will end up getting this game.

ppl the new trailer shows it better. the graphics r very impressive 2 me. they look great. the body styles r fine. dont really mind it. looks way better than 09 in alot of ways 4 me. i also love the cover with troy and fitz. troy is my fav player.

I saw the trailer with the huge shoulders. The RB look they have a feminist figure with huge-ass shoulder pads. The new defensive hot-routes looks good.

I'll be getting 10 for sure.

needeing input from the guys who have played ps, 360 madden - i may go 360, for 10 but i have only played one madden game - wii 09. are the other systems more fun to play? i really like the wii controllers and cannot imagine that playing with a typical game controller could be as much fun. other than grapics what are the benefits of the other systems games? please do not tell me to go to thier forums, i am sure few of the hard core 360 players have spent any real time on the wii..
