OFFICIAL NWL BRAWL TIER LIST

This list is based upon each character's quality. If there are any disagreements, please post in this thread.
I made this list in about 30 min. There have to be disagreements somewhere.

BL isn't really a Tier its just were we would put them in BL if we didnt know and planned to test them out. We need to distinguish between the two. Imagine letting Wolf rein free in UU. This is a good list though otherwise good job

i actually think snake isnt used that often and id say marth is used alot too

GB: BL is more a tier to be used as a standard, not really a tier of its own. The BLs are the ones that are too strong to be used in UU, but not strong enough for OU. For example, Wolf would wreak havoc in UU, but would be dominated in OU due to the availability of Fox.

NB: These are based on the Character's potential, not the character's actual usage. If it were based on usage rates, Sonic and link would be classified as Uber. Also, the list does NOT individually rank characters.

if its by potential i dont see how snake is that high. ive tried using him and he isnt that great

Characters are placed in tiers not to best fit them to best fit them but to best fit the enviroment. That is why there is no BL. BL is simply for times when a character is in question and can not be moved safely to another teir until 1 is eliminated. Wolf shouldnt be in BL bc he is shadowed by fox, he is in BL bc he can not be in UU, so therefor since BL is a standard and nto a tier Wolf is OU.

Also Tiers should be entirely based on usage as opposed to potential. Why? because we play to win. when people play to win they use the best charecters that fit the current metagame and therefor those can be determined as...overUSED or underUSED....i tihnk we should use an offical tier list perhaps. Yours is good but i think that using one that a brawl site made would make more sense. Imagine a brawl based league having madden nation and trying to rank the football teams...ya know what i mean?
