THE NWL TOUR OFFICIAL RULES
The NWL Tour is a league devoted to Tiger woods PGA Tour 10 for Wii. We accept experts and beginners alike. The league will consist of weekly matches and playoffs to decide a champion. Please only sign up if you are willing to be an active member. Contact Ian43 or nbcards via PM with any questions about the league. Thank you, have fun, and follow the rules below!!
Weekly Play: All matches will be RANKED with default settings. A course will be randomly selected for the weeks play and you are to play on that course only. Matches must be played via simultaneous play with another member of the NWL Tour. You are to play your round with another NWL member in order to eliminate lying about scores, but your partner’s score does not have any implications on you, your score is up against everyone else in the league. Failure to complete the week’s round within a week of course release will severely hurt you in the standings so PLAY!!
Majors: Throughout the season there will be four Major Championships, The US Open (Bethpage Black), The Masters (Oakmont), The Open Championship (Turnberry), and the PGA Championship (Hazeltine). The Majors follow the same rules as weekly play except you must play TWO 18-hole rounds. Purses for majors will also be significantly higher than weekly play so bring your A-Game!
Playoffs: After a combined 13 weeks of weekly play and Major play. The top 4 money earners will be in a two week playoff to decide a champion. Seedings will be decided by regular season standings. The 1 seed will play the 4 and the 2 will play the 3. In the first round the higher seed will have the luxury of picking their own course where the 18-hole match will be played. The first round winners will play a four round championship at a selected course.
Match Set-up: Matches may be set up via PM or the chat box.
Post Match Recording: After your weekly match record yours and your partners score relative to par in the results section. After all scores are reported an official leaderboard will be posted and the purse will be distributed.
Standings: Weekly Matches Major Championships
1st Place: $10,000 1st Place: $20,000
2nd: $9,000 2nd: $18,000
3rd: $8,000 3rd: $16,000
Okay you get the idea, all the way to 10th place with $1,000.
