Please "ping" EA servers to learn our response times

After not being able to connect easily with a couple people in the league, I was interested in learning what the response time from my house, through the internets to EA's servers and back was.
The way you learn this is by using a "ping", which is basically a request from your computer to another.
I encourage you all to "ping" the EA server and post your response time. Here are the simple instructions I know:
1. Go to Start Menu>Run
2. Type: cmd
3. This will bring up a command prompt, which looks like an old computer screen (if you are an old bastard like me you used to see a lot of these).
4. type: ping easo.ea.com -t

Your computer should start sending a request to the EA server every second or so and list a resulting response time. It will also let you know if some of you info is not getting through.
List your response times below.

My time is 80-90 ms

My time is 97 ms everytime except a few were 98 and one was 306

it goes on forever!

The average is 75-76

i got 59-63

what does this do anyways?

shows hows how good your connection is to the EA servers

It is the response speed from your house, to EA Sports and back, in milliseconds. Faster is better. A lot of "time outs" and there is something wrong with your connection.

I have about 20-21 on average....I'm guessing lower is better.

mine was an average of 40-50

so if u have a low number thats good so my connection should be good correct

My average was between 94 and 99ms. Explains a lot.

mine was usually about 36 with a couple 500's and 300's

i got like 40 Ms on average

most of the lines showed 52-54ms
however, there was a few that had over 100ms and a few over 500ms

Eddy, since I had trouble connecting to certain players, I was simply curious what speeds we were all working with. They all should be good. The only thing I can figure is EA has a number of servers, and players from different areas are routed to different servers.
There should be no reason that kfied and I can't connect. We both have acceptable connection speed. And I had problems with nbcards in the past. Maybe we get put on opposite servers.
