After not being able to connect easily with a couple people in the league, I was interested in learning what the response time from my house, through the internets to EA's servers and back was.
The way you learn this is by using a "ping", which is basically a request from your computer to another.
I encourage you all to "ping" the EA server and post your response time. Here are the simple instructions I know:
1. Go to Start Menu>Run
2. Type: cmd
3. This will bring up a command prompt, which looks like an old computer screen (if you are an old bastard like me you used to see a lot of these).
4. type: ping easo.ea.com -t
Your computer should start sending a request to the EA server every second or so and list a resulting response time. It will also let you know if some of you info is not getting through.
List your response times below.
