SOTW - 3/23/09 - NCAA College Basketball (Iceman23Wave wins)

This week's theme is NCAA College Basketball. Since the NCAA tourney begins in a few days, I thought that it would be a fitting theme for this week. The rules for this competition are: No animation, College team/player must be in this year's tournament, signature can have anything to do with the NCAA tournament, player / team name needs to be on the signature, and for this week only - each person can only submit one SOTW entry because of the "bonus game" discussed below.

I am going to add a fun little side game to this week's competition. If your signature depicts the eventual champion, and only the eventual champion (so don't get any ideas about putting all 65 team logos on a signature), you will be awarded a "bonus SOTW win". This should be something fun that we will be able to monitor for the next few weeks. Everyone that makes a signature with the eventual champion will be awarded a bonus SOTW win (not just the top vote getter for the week).

Entries are due by Friday March 20th at midnight pacific time. Please submit your entry to me via pm as always.

msu I like the idea but I have a feeling that alot of people are gonna make the same sigs of the same teams so Idk how its gonna work?

Well Tvon, maybe we will see alot of the same sigs, but who says that is the team that will win. I think that this is a fun way to see if anyone here is correct in who they think will win, also it is a test of who is truly fans or not. Plus, if everyone submits the same team then it should be easy to pick an winner this week.

Congratulations Iceman23Wave on your victory (see I told you it didn't matter that you were put in the F position).

Remember to keep track of the tourney too, if one of the signatures depict the winning team then that person gets a "bonus" sotw win.

Bonus Game update:

Only Ian43 has been eliminated so far because Memphis was knocked out of the tourney. Everyone else chose a #1 seed and is still in the game.
