Hi I finally decided to register to this forum. If the colts become available I would like to join the league.

I played against a player who only played goal line D and I could not beat it to save my life. Does anyone have a recommendation on what to do?

Hey koop, glad to have you hear. The colts are actually a team that has been bounced around quite a bit. So you gotta chance.

About the goaline thing, I would try Calling your shot deep to Reggie Wayne (Im assuming you used colts.) and user catch it since hes not gonna have very good coverage outta goaline. If that doesnt work I would go to a single back set with 3 WR (Singleback Normal) with Manning under center and Call your shots so that Harrison and Wayne go deep and run straight diagonal across the middle. Also as a bailout have Addai go out in the flats and have Clark run an out.

    Hope this helps!

The player that I played was RJD. He moved his CBs back so they would be able to run with my WRs and I was never able to catch the ball deep. Also with the three wides I had less protection and got sacked a few times. I was able to run the ball some and on crossing routes hit a few people but unable to really get an offense going. I also use Run Balanced for an offence.

RJD does that gay corner blitz out of the goaline and pinches the d line so he'll get instant pressure up the middle almost everytime. What I like to do is call your shot like iceman does and go deep. Also try some counters you'll be suprised how they work on people that do goaline d all the time

Try some WR screens. If he moves back his CB's or blitzes them the screens should work beautifully.

I like I-form twins max protection in that situation as well. Your FB and TE stay in to block, then the TE peels out into a dump off pattern. The HB runs a swing, and the two WR go deep. Maybe even audible the slot reciever to a quick out if he is playing man coverage.
The screens should work good as well. I'm pretty sure that 5 wr screen from the "play-type/screens" menu would beat that coverage.

    Hey Koop83, welcome
Yea I've played that faggotron 3 times, I beat him twice, and he beat me once
the 1st time I think he played normal D but the 2nd time he did that gau goal line shit
i was able to come away with the win
the 3rd time he did what Mix said, blitz with corners and get move D line close together for instant pressure, and he always controls Hope, only thing he's good at is the user defender, but he really doesn't have to do much cause he gets instant pressure
but we should play sometime man
